In the later part of 2008, we pivoted towards restaurants and became the company we are today. Prior to the financial collapse we sold highly allocated wines directly to our network of private collectors. This network of private collectors allowed us to buy wines they no longer like to drink or had too many bottles of to keep. It is this base that allowed us to keep buying the everyday wines that restaurant buyers wanted and the confidence to offer a guarantee on every bottle we sell. I don’t know many places that take back any wine for any flaw at any time.  The places that trust us to help them build out amazing wine programs are the usual suspects that have Michelin stars, Wine Spectator awards and amazing reviews from their local publications. We trust our sources so you can trust us, our buyers have followed our book across the country as they moved from location to location.
